I have had quite eclectic experiences, and this portfolio has been designed to highlight how my wide range of experiences has shaped me into a flexible and capable worker. I have spent time in retail, religious/ministry work, and customer service. My favorite experiences have always been when I get to help others and/or think creatively. During my time in ministry, I worked with children, planned events, handled operations of a gap year program, and ran a social media account.  I enjoyed being creative and getting to do things for others. At Disney, I have been fulfilled in my job because I get to think creatively to solve problems, and I work in a variety of roles and positions to help people have a good experience at the parks. 

I find a great deal of inspiration and influence in Walt Disney, who believed in dreams and innovation. He once said that his formula was to dream, diversify, and never miss an angle. Dreaming, seeking unique opportunities and experiences, and looking at each opportunity from each angle are crucial to my professional outlook. I believe that nothing is truly impossible until it has been attempted. I am guided by faith, creativity, and innovation. My experiences have been broad and eclectic, and I enjoy trying many things. I enjoy event planning, social media strategy, and customer service, and I believe these skills can be very helpful. The pictures and information in this portfolio highlight some of my career highlights, creativity, and dreams. 

Growing up and maturing is in and of itself an obstacle. One big struggle that I have had is mental health struggles following the death of my father. Additionally, ADHD has always been an obstacle for me, since it impacts my focus. I also made a sudden career change when I left ministry, which led to my time at Disney, which led to my return to school. I did not think that I would ever be able to afford my bachelor's, but Disney paid for my schooling through their Aspire program, which gave me more opportunities than I ever thought possible. 

I am a Christian, and my work has been influenced by my beliefs. I started my career in ministry. However, I am not focused solely on religious or faith-based work. I have been deeply influenced by the people I work with at Disney, and by the people I interact with every day. My religion has also instilled in me a belief in finding enjoyment in every task that I do, and in treating others as valuable. These things influence my perspective on work and how I live my life, and interact with others in both my personal and professional life.
